Window fields:

  • Group indicates the name of the draft modifier group that contains the draft modifier item. In the editor window, this field is read-only.

In the entry window, this field is editable and must be filled out.

You can select this value in the Select draft modifier group window.

  • Name indicates the name of the draft modifier item. This is a required field.

The name of the draft modifier item corresponds to the name of the draft menu item or draft menu item shortcut included in the draft modifier group.

  • Index is the number that determines the position of the modifier item in the selection screen on the POS terminal.

This value allows you to change the display order of modifier items displayed in the group. By default, new items in the group are assigned the penultimate value. The index parameter can be used to place the most popular items higher up in the group, making them easier to access at the terminal.

  • Default defines whether the modifier item is the default option. This is a required field.

Please choose between: No and Yes.

If Yes is selected, the draft modifier item is automatically added to the order along with the menu item. If the field is set to No, the operator decides whether to include the draft modifier item in the order.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

When two or more draft modifier items are selected for editing, the multiple draft modifier item editor window will open. This window has a panel displaying a list of the selected items.

The fields are similar to those in the Draft modifier specification item editor window.

The Default field is disabled because only a single item can be specified as the default.

The New draft modifier specification item entry window is opened by using the Add command. From here, you can add a new draft menu item to the draft modifier specification.
