The software modules.
directory is intended for managing the print formats used byLocation of the directory:
– – .The data grid of the directory contains a tree list. The software modules that support the functionality of a printer are the root elements of this list. Print format types are the child elements of the software modules. Software module print formats appear as the child elements of the format types.
Data grid columns:
Name is the name of the software module, software module print format type, or software module print format.
Description is a brief description of the software module print format.
Based on is the printing format upon which the current print format is based.
Additional query shows whether an additional SQL query will be used to gather the data required for generating the format print layout.
Security level is the security level assigned to the print format.
System is a tag identifying system objects.
The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adding a new software module print format.
– creates a software module print format based on another print format.
This command is only available when you select one software module print format.
(F2) – editing print format attributes.
This command is only available when you select one or more print formats.
(Del) – deletes software module print formats from the directory to the .
This command is only available when you select one or more print formats.
– menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
– menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.
– menu with the commands to operate the data grid.
To add new software module print formats to the directory, use the and entry windows. To edit attributes of software module print formats, use the and editor windows.
A confirmation prompt appears when you delete software module print formats from the directory.
To open the directory from windows of other directories, use the window.
