Table types directory

The Table types directory data grid is used to manage table types.

Data grid columns:

  • Name designates the name of the table type.

  • Description is a brief description of the table type.

  • Security level indicates the security level assigned to the table type.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new table type.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of table types.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes table types to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new table types to the directory, use the New table type and New table types entry windows. To edit their attributes, use the Table type or Table types editor window.

When you delete a table type from the directory, a confirmation prompt appears.

The Select table type window is used to open the directory from windows of other directories.
