Stock item group window

Windows used for managing directory groups:

All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the Stock item groups or Stock items directory.

The editor window is opened by using the Edit command. In this window, you can edit attributes of one or more stock item groups.

If one stock item group is selected, the Stock item group editor window opens. The window is composed of the Properties and Access panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Parent group indicates the stock item group which contains the current group.

    You can select or edit this value in the Select stock item group window.

    To move a group to the top level, select (empty) in the drop-down list.

  • Name denotes the name of the stock item group. This is a required field.

  • Description is a description of the stock item group.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

When two or more stock item groups are selected for editing, the multiple editor window opens. The name of the editor window changes to Stock item groups. A panel with a list of the selected groups is added to the editor window.

The panels and fields are similar to those in the Stock item group editor window.

The entry window allows you to add one or more new stock item groups to the Stock items and Stock item groups directories.

The New stock item group entry window is opened by using the Add command from the context menu of the Stock item groups directory or the Add group command from the context menu of the Stock items directory. It also opens when you paste a stock item group from the clipboard.
