Window fields:

  • Document indicates the number of the development record. The field is read-only.

  • Name is the name of the experiment that uses the selected stock item (recipe item). This is a required field.

The experiment name is used to identify the groups of columns that contain: the original quantities of the stock items used in the experiment, the quantities of these items after cold processing and cooking, and the prices and costs of stock items.

  • Description is a brief description of the experiment that uses the selected stock item (recipe item).

Any additional information can be entered in this field.

  • Deduct from store indicates whether or not the stock items used in the experiment will be deducted from the store. This is a required field.

Please choose between: Yes and No. If Yes is set, stock items used in the experiment will be deducted after the record has been processed by the storekeeping system. If No is selected, the stock items will not be deducted from store.

  • Index indicates the place of the experiment in the development record specification.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The fields are similar to those in the Experiment window.

You can open the New experiment entry window by using the Add command from the Experiments menu. From here, you can add to the specification a group of columns that describe how the experiment was carried out.
