The Document prefix panel is composed of a single field: Value. This field is used to specify a code to be added to the document number.

Any value suitable for document numbers can be entered in this field; it will be affixed to the automatically-generated document numbers for the store.

To automatically add a store prefix to the document number, select the required document number format for the selected document type in the Number generators directory. When creating a document number format in the Number settings directory, use the dnf_GetStoreSignature procedure in SQL queries to access store prefixes.
