The Sales record processing task is used to create sales records after menu items are sold during business days.

The task uses data prepared by the Business day processing task.

The task must be performed on the segment responsible for the store groups. If the Sales record processing field is set to Yes, the task recalculates sales records for all store groups that belong to the segment.

The task processes orders for each guest tab and creates sales records for the business days associated with the stores of this group.

Before an inventory can take place, sales record calculation must be completed.

The task is relatively resource-intensive; therefore, it is recommended that you not launch it on the segment where Tillypad XL POS instances are run.
