Working in Delivery call centre mode

Working in Delivery call centre mode

Delivery call centre mode allows you to centralise delivery order-taking for fulfillment divisions. Orders can be fulfilled in the division where the order was taken, another division in the same segment, or a division from another segment.

In the Delivery call centre operating mode, the operator takes a customer’s order and indicates which division is responsible for fulfilling this order. The fulfillment division uses Delivery via call centre mode for receiving and processing orders. The call centre operator monitors the execution of the order by keeping track of changes to its delivery status.

The fulfillment division can decline to execute an order taken by the call centre, for example, because of high workload or if necessary stock items are missing from its store. In this case, the delivery order will receive the Rejected by the venue status. The call centre operator can then send this order to another division, edit its specification, or cancel it.
