Viewing and editing delivery service regular customer profiles

When delivery orders are taken, some information is stored automatically. This information includes:

  • phone numbers,

  • delivery addresses,

  • order specifications and delivery comments.

Operations on delivery service's regular customer profiles allow you to view details of the customer's previous orders and edit the customer description if necessary. These operations are available in Delivery call centre , Delivery via call centre , and Delivery modes.

The context menu with operations that can be carried out on delivery service's regular customer profiles opens in the guest tab window.

To open the guest tab window, select a guest tab from the list and choose the Open details command in the context menu of the guest tab list or of the button.

Press to open the menu with operations that can be carried out on delivery service regular customer profiles.

The menu contains commands for adding or editing the customer description, as well as for viewing the customer's order history.

Editing the customer description

To add or edit the customer description, select the Edit customer description command from the button context menu.

An entry window where you an enter the description will open. Enter any information about the customer.

Press OK to enter the description.

Press Next or OK, depending on the delivery type, to close the guest tab window and save the entered description.

The description of the customer is displayed in the guest tab window below the customer's name.

The entered customer description is stored in the Regular customers directory. The changes made to the customer description from the directory will also appear in the delivery guest tab window, and vice versa.

Customer order history

The database stores information about orders made by the customer.

To open the customer's order history, select the Customer order history command from the button context menu.
