Windows used with document numbers:

Number settings and Number settings editor windows.

The editor window is opened by the Edit command in the context menu when one or more document numbers are selected.

If one document number is selected, the Document number window will open.

Form fields:

Name -- name of the document type. Read only.
Format -- name of the document number format for documents of the specified type. Selection is made in the Select number generator window.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

When two or more document numbers are selected for editing, the multiple editor window will open. It has a panel displaying a list of the selected document numbers. The title in the window header is Document numbers.

When multiple document numbers are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected document numbers.

The fields are the same as in the Number settings window.
