Figure 8.1. Selecting directories from the System menu

The Language packs directory contains language packs that are used in the system.

The IDs assigned to employees, clients and partners are stored in the IDs directory. ID types are stored in the ID types directory.

IDs are organised in arbitrary groups (Employee IDs, Client IDs etc.) ID groups can be managed in both the IDs and ID groups directories.

The System settings directory contains global default settings used in Tillypad XL : currency format and rounding precision, VAT rate and stock item properties formats.

The Segments directory contains general settings relating to operation of the system segment.

The Locations directory is used to specify physical locations of divisions, stores and devices.

The Number generators directory contains formats for automatically generated document numbers. The Number settings directory contains a list of number formats that correspond to different document types.

The <xi:include></xi:include> directory contains a list of note types that are used to add new attributes to different elements of the system. Note types can be created by the user to add extra parameters to directory items. Additional panels with notes will appear in the items where values can be entered.

The Tasks list contains tasks that can be launched manually or scheduled to start automatically. The Task types directory is used to manage tasks.

The Recycle bin contains information that was deleted from directories and can be restored.
