Windows used for managing the directory contents:
All of these windows are opened from the directory.
The editor window is opened by the command in the context menu when one or more payment methods are selected.
If one payment method is selected in the table, the editor window will open.
The window contains the Properties and Access panels.
The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:
Payment method group – name of the payment method group to which the payment method belongs. Required field.
Name – name of the payment method. Required field.
This name is used to select the payment method on POS terminals.
Description – brief description of the payment method.
Any additional information can be entered in this field.
Cash – flag defining the payment method as a cash payment method. Required field.
The value is selected from No or Yes.
If No is selected, the payment method is a non-cash method and the amount tendered at the POS terminal cannot be greater than the amount required for payment.
If Yes is selected, the payment method is a cash method, which means that the amount tendered at the POS terminal can exceed the amount required for payment and the difference will be returned as change.
Excluded from payment – flag for temporary disabling of the payment method on POS terminals. Required field.
The value is selected from No or Yes.
If No is selected, the payment method will be available for selection on the POS terminal.
If Yes is selected, the payment method will not be available for selection on the POS terminal.
Index – position of the payment method in the list of payment methods on POS terminals.
By default, a new payment method is added to the lowest position in the list (i.e. it is given the highest index number). The default index can be changed if the user wants to rearrange payment methods in the window table and in the list on POS terminals.
Click to save data. Selecting will save data without closing the window. Selecting will close the window without saving data.
When two or more payment methods are selected for editing, the multiple editor window will open. It has a panel displaying a list of the selected payment methods. The title in the window header is .
The fields and panels are the same as in the window.
The entry window allows one or more new payment methods to be added to the directory.
The entry window is opened by the command or when adding a payment method from the clipboard.
The fields and panels are the same as in the window.
The entry window is opened when two or more payment methods are pasted from the clipboard.
