Access panel in the Payment method group window

The following windows are used to manage payment method groups:

Payment method group and Payment method groups editor windows
New payment method group and New payment method groups entry windows

All of these windows are opened from the Payment methods or Payment method groups directory.

The editor window is opened by the Edit command and allows one or more payment method groups to be edited.

If one group is selected, the Payment method group editor window is opened.

The window contains the Properties and Access panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

Name – name of the payment method group. Required field.
Description – brief description of the payment methods group.
Any additional information can be entered in this field.
Excluded from payment – flag for temporary disabling of the payment method group on POS terminals. Required field.
The value is selected from No or Yes.
If No is selected, the payment method group will be available for selection on the POS terminal.
If Yes is selected, the payment method group along with all nested payment methods will not be available for selection on the POS terminal.
Index – position of the payment method group in the list of payment method groups on POS terminals.
By default, a new payment method group is added to the lowest position in the list (i.e. it is given the highest index number). The default index can be changed if the user wants to alter the position of the group in the window table and in the list on POS terminals.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

When two or more payment method groups are selected for editing, the multiple editor window will open. It has a panel displaying a list of the selected payment method groups. The title in the window header is Payment method group.

The fields and panels are the same as in the Payment method group window.

The entry window allows one or more new payment method groups to be added to the directory.

The Payment method groups entry window is opened by the Add group command from the Payment methods directory, or by the Add command from the Payment method groups directory, or by pasting a payment method group from the clipboard.

The New payment method groups entry window is opened when two or more payment method groups are pasted from the clipboard to the Payment method groups directory.
