The Specification panel contains a list of the items included in the production record. The table columns show various attributes of these stock items.

Data grid columns:

  • Stock item indicates the stock item included in the production record.

    The column contains names of output items (dishes, pre-processed goods) and the original stock items and ingredients used in the process of production.

  • Unit (stock item) is the unit of measurement for the stock item.

  • Quantity denotes the quantity of the stock item.

  • Stock item group indicates the stock item group to which the stock item belongs.

  • Type denotes the stock item type to which the given stock item belongs.

  • Parent is the name of the compound stock item, the recipe of which contains the listed stock item.

  • Concurrence is the name of the stock item concurrence associated with the stock item.

  • Price by cost is the price of the stock item after cost price calculation.

  • Total by cost price denotes the cost price of the stock item.

  • Total cost of ingredient is the calculated cost price of a stock item that functions as an ingredient in a compound stock item's recipe.

  • Cold preparation wastage % denotes the quantity of the stock item modified during cold preparation. This value is expressed as a percentage.

  • Net is the net quantity of the stock item after cold preparation.

  • Cooking wastage % denotes the amount by which the quantity changes as a result of cooking. This value is expressed as a percentage.

  • Yield is the yield of the stock item after cold preparation and cooking wastage.

  • Status (store) is the status of the specification item as a result of processing by the storekeeping system.

  • Comment is a short text comment.

  • Document is the production record, the specification of which contains the stock item.

  • Class is the class of the stock item.

  • Calculated defines whether the stock item is calculated.

  • Index is the place of the stock item in the order of the production record specification.

The specification context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a stock item to the production record specification.

  • Edit / View (F2) – edits and displays production record specification items.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes items from the sales record specification.

  • Select from stock items – selects stock items from the Stock items directory to add them sequentially to the directory.

    The Select from stock items command is added to the context menu of the specification of a record with the Not ready status.

  • Select from stock on hand – selects stock items from the Stock on hand operational report to add them sequentially to the production specification.

    The Select from stock on hand command is added to the specification context menu of a record with the Not ready status.

  • Edit sequentially (Shift+F2) – allows you to edit specification items in sequence without closing the editor window.

  • Stock movement – displays an operational report on movement of selected stock items.

    The command is available only for filled in specifications of production records, regardless of their current status.

  • Stock item turnover – opens an operational report on stock turnover of the selected stock items.

    The command is available only for filled in specifications of production records, regardless of their current status.

  • Stock out by stock in – opens an operational report on stock usage for the selected stock items.

    This command is available only when selecting specification items with the status Registered.

  • Stock in by stock out – opens an operational report on the arrival of the selected consumed stock items.

    This command is available only when selecting child specification items (simple stock items) with the status Registered.

  • Calculationcalculates stock items included in the production record specification.

    This command is available only in specifications of production records with the status Not ready.

  • Recalculate recipe – adds the recipe of the selected compound stock item to the specification.

    This command is available only for parent specification items in production records with the status Not ready.

  • Undo delete – cancels the deletion of stock items from the specification of the production record.

    The command is enabled only if the specification item that caused an error during document processing by the store software has been deleted.

  • Status – menu with the commands to alter the document status.

    When you select one or more documents with the same status, their current status will not be available in the context menu. When you select documents with different statuses, all possible statuses will be available in the context menu.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

The New production record specification item and New production record specification items entry windows are used to add stock items to the production record specification.

The Production record specification item and Production record specification items editor windows are used for editing specification items.

A sequential editor window can also be used. This window is also named Production record specification item .

To view attributes of specification items of the production records with the status Ready or Registered, use the Production record specification item and Production record specification items viewing windows.

When you delete production record specification items, a confirm permanent deletion prompt appears.

Production records with the Ready or Registered statuses cannot be edited. In this case, the specification items become read-only, and the Edit command is replaced with the View command in the context menu:
