Specification panel in the Butchering record window

The Specification panel contains a list of the stock items included in the butchering record. This tree list is composed of root elements (stock items to be butchered) and child elements (resulting simple or compound stock items).

Data grid columns:

  • Stock item indicates the stock item included in the butchering record.

    The column contains the names of the original stock items and ingredients as well as the names of the outcome items (dishes, compound stock items) produced as a result of butchering.

  • Unit (stock item) is the unit of measurement for the stock item.

  • Quantity indicates the quantity of the stock item included in the butchering record specification.

  • Stock item group indicates the stock item group to which the stock item belongs.

  • Type denotes the stock item type to which the given stock item belongs.

  • Parent is the name of the stock item whose recipe contains the listed stock item.

  • Class is the class to which the stock item belongs.

  • Concurrence is the name of the stock item concurrence associated with the stock item.

  • With butchering denotes that the stock item is included in the specification along with its butchering instruction.

  • Cost, % is the percentage of the raw item value present in the resulting stock item.

  • Comment is a short text comment.

  • Index indicates the place of the stock item in the butchering record specification.

  • Price by cost is the price of the item after cost price calculation.

  • Total by cost price denotes the cost price of the stock item.

  • Total cost of ingredient is the total cost price of the stock item included in the butchering instruction of the parent stock item.

  • Document is the number of the butchering record containing the selected stock item.

  • Status (store) is the status assigned to the butchering record specification item after it has been processed by the storekeeping system.

  • Recalculate child items denotes that the quantities of the child items in the butchering instruction must be recalculated when the quantity of the stock item with butchering instruction changes.

The specification context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new item to the butchering record specification.

    This command is available only in specifications of butchering records with the status Not ready.

  • Edit / View (F2) – edits and displays butchering record specification items.

    The Edit command is available only in filled in specifications of butchering records with the status Not ready. If the butchering record has either the Ready or Registered status, the Edit command in the context menu is replaced with the View command.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes items from the butchering record specification.

    The Delete command is available only in filled in specifications of butchering records with the status Not ready. If If the butchering record has either the Ready or Registered status, the Delete command in the context menu is disabled.

  • Select from stock items – selects stock items from the Stock items directory to add them sequentially to the butchering record specification.

    The Select from stock items command is added to the context menu of the specification of a record with the Not ready status.

  • Select from stock on hand – selects stock items from the Stock on hand operational report to add them sequentially to the butchering record specification.

    The Select from stock on hand command is added to the specification context menu of a record with the Not ready status.

  • Edit sequentially (Shift+F2) – allows you to sequentially edit butchering record specification items.

    The Edit sequentially command is available only in filled in specifications of butchering records with the status Not ready. If the butchering record has either the Ready or Registered status, the Edit sequentially command in the context menu is disabled.

  • Stock movement – displays an operational report on movement of selected stock items.

    This command is available only for filled in specifications of butchering records, regardless of their current status.

  • Stock item turnover – opens an operational report on stock turnover of the selected stock items.

    This command is available only for filled in specifications of butchering records, regardless of their current status.

  • Stock out by stock in – opens an operational report on stock usage for the selected stock items.

    This command is available only for root specification items of butchering records with the status Registered.

  • Stock in by stock out – opens an operational report on the arrival of the selected consumed stock items.

    The command is available only for child specification items (simple stock items only) in butchering records with the status Registered.

  • Recalculate recipe – adds the recipe of the selected compound stock item to the specification.

    This command is available only for parent specification items in butchering records with the status Not ready.

  • Undo delete – cancels deletion of specification elements from the butchering record.

    The command is enabled only if the specification item that caused an error during document processing by the store software has been deleted.

  • Status – menu with the commands to alter the document status.

    When you select one or more documents with the same status, their current status will not be available in the context menu. When you select documents with different statuses, all possible statuses will be available in the context menu.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new items to the butchering record specification, use the New butchering record specification item and New butchering record specification items entry windows.

To edit attributes of specification items, use the Butchering record specification item and Butchering record specification items editor windows. A sequential editor window can also be used for editing; this window is also named Butchering record specification item .

The Select butchering record specification item window is used to select a parent item.

A confirm permanent deletion prompt appears when you delete items from butchering record specifications.

If the butchering has either the Ready or Registered status, no changes can be made to its specification. In this case specification items are disabled for editing, and the Edit command is replaced by the View command:

The Butchering record specification item and Butchering record specification items viewing windows are used to view attributes of specification items.
