The directory is used to manage payment methods and their groups.
Location of the directory: – – .
The directory contains a tree list. Payment method groups are the root elements of this list, and payment methods are the child elements of the list. In turn, payment methods can also have child elements in the form of payment method denominations.
Data grid columns:
Name is the name of the payment method, payment method denomination, or payment method group.
Description is a brief description of the payment method.
Cash indicates that the payment method is cash.
Excluded from payment denotes that the payment method group is temporarily unavailable on the POS terminal.
On-screen button format is the on-screen button format that is used to select a payment method or a payment method denomination on the POS terminal screen.
Image is the image that is displayed on the screen button.
Picture file name is the name of the file containing a picture used to select a payment method or a payment method denomination on the POS terminal screen.
Index denotes the sequence order in which payment methods or payment method denominations are displayed in the selection data grid on the POS terminal.
Security level is the security level assigned to the payment method.
System is a tag identifying system objects.
The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adds a payment method.
(Alt+Ins) – adds a payment method group.
(Shift+Ctrl+Ins) – adds a payment method denomination.
(F2) – edits attributes of payment methods, payment method denominations, or payment method groups.
This command is only available in a populated data grid when you select items of the same type, i.e. only payment methods, only payment method denominations, or only payment method groups.
(Del) – deletes payment methods and payment method groups to the .
– menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

To add new payment methods, use the and entry windows. To edit attributes of payment methods, use the and editor windows.
To add a new payment method denomination, use the entry window. To edit attributes of payment method denominations, use the and editor windows.
To add new payment method groups, use the and entry windows. To edit attributes of payment method groups, use the and editor windows.
When you delete payment methods, payment method denominations, and payment method groups, a confirmation prompt appears.
The window is used to select payment methods and their denominations from window fields of other directories and lists. Payment method groups can be selected in the window.
