The directory is used for managing measurement units of menu items.
Location of the directory: - .
Data grid columns:
Name indicates the name of the menu unit of measurement.
Description is a brief description of the menu unit of measurement.
Format denotes the display format of the menu item, expressed in menu units of measurement.
Type designates the type of the menu unit of measurement.
Security level indicates the the security level assigned to or inherited by the menu unit of measurement.
System is a tag identifying system objects.
The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adds a new menu unit of measurement.
(F2) – edits the selected menu units of measurement.
– menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.
– menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
– menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.
– menu with the commands to operate the data grid.
To add new units of measurement to the directory, use the and windows. Attributes of selected measurement units can be altered in the and editor windows.
The confirm delete prompt appears when units of measurement are deleted.
The window is used to select directory entries from the fields of entry windows.
