The POS terminal operating modes directory is used to manage POS terminal operating modes.

Location of the directory: SalesDirectoriesPOS terminal operating modes.

Data grid columns:

  • Name indicates the name of the POS terminal operating mode.

  • Description is a brief description of the POS terminal operating mode.

  • Security level is the security level allocated to the POS terminal operating mode.

  • On-screen button format is the format of the on-screen button that opens the operating mode from the POS terminal main menu.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a POS terminal operating mode.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of POS terminal operating modes.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes POS terminal operating modes from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new POS terminal operating modes, use the New POS terminal operating mode and New POS terminal operating modes entry windows.

To edit attributes of POS terminal operating modes, use the POS terminal operating mode and POS terminal operating modes editor windows.

When you delete POS terminal operating modes from the directory, a confirmation prompt appears.
