Windows used to manage screen form print formats:

All of these windows are opened from the Screen form print formats window data grid.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. In this window, you can modify attributes of one or more screen form print formats.

The Screen form print format window opens if one format is selected in the data grid.

The editor window is composed of the Properties , Access , Input parameters , and Print layouts panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Based on is the screen form print format upon which this format is based.

  • Name is the name of the screen form print format. This is a required field.

  • Description is a brief text description of the screen form print format.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

  • Additional query shows whether an additional SQL query will be used to gather data from other data grids.

    You can choose between Yes and No.

    If you select Yes, the window will display the additional panels: Preset parameters , Query , and Preset parameter configuration .

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The Screen form print formats editor window opens if two or more screen form print formats are selected in the data grid.

The window displays the Properties and Access panels as well as a panel with a list of the selected elements.

The panels and fields are similar to those in the Screen form print format window.

The entry window allows you to add one or more screen form print formats to the directory.

You can open the New screen form print format entry window by using the Add command or the Create based on command. Alternatively, you can open the window by pasting one print format from the clipboard.
