Specification panel in the Sales record window

The Specification panel is designed for managing the stock items included into the sales record specification.

The panel contains a data grid with a list of the stock items associated with the sold menu items. Parent items in the list are simple stock items or stock items with a recipe. Child items (ingredients) can also be simple stock items or stock items with a recipe (semi-finished products).

Data grid columns:

  • Stock item indicates the stock item included in the sales record specification.

  • Unit (stock item) is the unit of measurement for the stock item.

  • Quantity denotes the quantity of the stock item in the sales record.

  • Concurrence is the stock item concurrence applied to stock items when the user adds them to the sales record specification.

  • Cold preparation wastage % indicates the percentage of the stock item lost during cold preparation.

  • Net is the amount of the stock item after cold preparation.

  • Cooking wastage is the percentage of the stock item lost during cooking.

  • Yield is the amount of the stock item after cooking.

  • Price by cost is the price of the item after cost price calculation.

  • Total by cost price is the total cost price of the stock item in the sales record specification.

  • Parent is the name of the compound stock item, the recipe of which contains the listed stock item.

  • Total cost of ingredient is the total cost price of the ingredients.

  • Status (store) is the status assigned to the sales record specification item after it has been processed by the storekeeping system.

  • Index indicates the place of the stock item in the sales record specification order.

  • Calculated defines whether calculation of the sales record specification item has been carried out.

  • Comment is a short comment.

  • Stock item group indicates the group to which the stock item belongs.

  • Type is the type of the stock item.

  • Document is the number of the sales record.

  • Class is the class to which the stock item belongs.

The specification context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a stock item to the sales record specification.

  • Edit / View (F2) – edits or displays stock items included into the sales record specification.

    The Edit command is available only in filled-in specifications of sales records with the status Not ready. If the sales record has a status of either Ready or Registered, the Edit command in the context menu is replaced with the View command.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes items from the sales record specification.

    The Delete command is available only in filled-in specifications of sales records with the status Not ready. If the sales record has the status Ready or Registered, the Delete command in the context menu is disabled.

  • Select from stock items – selects stock items from the Stock items directory to add them sequentially to the directory.

    The Select from stock items command is added to the context menu of the specification of a record with the Not ready status.

  • Select from stock on hand – selects stock items from the Stock on hand operational report to add them sequentially to the sales record specification.

    The Select from stock on hand command is added to the specification context menu of a record with the Not ready status.

  • Edit sequentially (Shift+F2) – edits sales record specification items in sequence without closing the editor window.

    The Edit sequentially command is available only in specifications of sales records with the status Not ready. If the sales record has a status of either Ready or Registered, the Edit sequentially command will be disabled.

  • Stock movement – displays an operational report on movement of selected stock items.

    This command is available only for filled-in specifications of sales records, regardless of their current status.

  • Stock item turnover – opens an operational report on stock turnover of the selected stock items.

    This command is available only for filled-in specifications of sales records, regardless of their current status.

  • Stock in by stock out – opens an operational report on the arrival of the selected consumed stock items.

    This command is available only in specifications of sales records with the status Registered when child elements (simple stock items only) are selected.

  • Calculation – enables processing of specification items that give negative stock levels after the storekeeping system processes the sales record.

  • Recalculate recipe – adds the recipe of the selected compound stock item to the specification.

    This command is available in specifications of sales records with the Not ready status when you select specification items that are parents for other specification items.

  • Undo delete – cancels the deletion of stock items from the sales record specification.

    The command is enabled only if the specification item that caused an error during document processing by the store software has been deleted.

  • Status – menu with the commands to alter the document status.

    When you select one or more documents with the same status, their current status will not be available in the context menu. When you select documents with different statuses, all possible statuses will be available in the context menu.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

The New sales record specification item and New sales record specification items entry windows are used to add stock items to the sales record specification.

The Sales record specification item and Sales record specification items editor windows are used to edit attributes of stock items included into the sales record specification. A sequential editor window can also be used for editing; this window is also named Sales record specification item .

The Select sales record specification item window is used to select a parent item.

The confirm permanent deletion prompt appears when you delete stock items from the sales record specification.

If the sales record has either the Ready or the Registered status, no changes can be made to its specification. In this case, the specification items (stock items) become read-only, and the Edit command is replaced with the View command in the context menu:

When you select one or more stock items included in the sales record specification, the Sales record specification item or Sales record specification items viewing window opens.
