Development records document list

Development records document list

Development records are used to:

  • keep record of the stock items that are used for the test preparation of dishes and semi-finished products,

  • estimate allowable wastage when processing these stock items.

The Development records document list is used for managing development records created across selected stores and within a selected date range.

Location: StoreDevelopment records.

You can open this window by using the Development records command in the context menu of the Stores directory.

  • Edit (F2) – edits development records.

  • Run – processes the development record in the storekeeping system.

This command is available only for documents with the status Execution error.

  • Update recipe – updates the recipe of a compound stock item in the Stock items directory based on the results of the development record.

This command is only available in a filled-in data grid. The availability of commands does not depend on the status of the selected development records.

The recipe ingredients are updated with the average quantities and cold preparation/cooking wastage percentages derived from the experiments documented in the development record.

If the development record results are being used to update the recipes of compound stock items, the stock item entered in the Stock item field of the Properties panel cannot be included in the specification (neither as a standalone item nor as a child item).

If it is included in the specification, an error message will be returned when you attempt to update the recipe.

  • Status – menu with the commands to alter the document status.

When you select one or more documents with the same status, their current status will not be available in the context menu. When you select documents with different statuses, all possible statuses will be available in the context menu.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

You can add new development records in the New development record and New development records entry windows. The Development record and Development records windows are used for editing items in the document list.

The confirm permanent deletion prompt appears when you delete development records.
