The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Number indicates the number of the development record. This is a required field.

A development record number can be generated automatically or entered manually. The number is automatically generated when you open the window or press the selection button in the Number field. Automatic numbers are generated using the template specified in the Number settings directory.

If the store status is either Deleted or Execution error, the number is accompanied by additional icons.

  • Description is a brief description of the development record.

Any additional information can be entered in this field.

  • Date is the date and time when the development record was created. This is a required field.

The current date and time are automatically added to the field when you open the window, but they can be edited. The date of the development record should correspond to the date that was specified in the paper record that accompanies the actual development.

The date can be entered in the short format DD.MM.YY (DD.MM.YYYY) or the long format DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS.

  • Store denotes the store where the development operation was carried out. This is a required field.

Please select a store in the Stores window.

The store name determines in which store stock levels will be reduced when the development record is processed or when the percentages of cold processing and cooking wastage are estimated.

  • Stock item is the stock item that is processed or prepared in the development process. This is a required field.

The results of the development record are used when you enter the information about the compound stock item recipe or the cold preparation and cooking wastage.

  • Quantity designates the amount of the stock item produced by the experiment. This is a required field.

This field is used to specify how much of the stock item was prepared as a result of the development operation.

  • Unit (stock item) is the unit of measurement for the stock item. For convenience, the name of this field is not displayed in the window.

This is a read-only field that displays the value specified for the stock item in the Stock items directory.

  • Result denotes the yield of the final product.

This field contains extra information about the item produced as a result of the development operation. For example, it might include the weights of the main dish and its accompanying side dish.

  • Employee indicates the employee who created the development record. This is a required field.

Please select an employee in the Select employee window.

User names are used for monitoring the completeness and correctness of the records showing the stock items consumed in the development process.

  • Status is the status of the development record. This is a required field.

Please choose one of the following options:

    • Not ready,

    • Ready,

    • Registered.

Access settings determine which users can assign certain statuses to development records.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

If the development record has either the Ready or Registered status, none of its properties except for its status can be edited. All fields in the Properties panel of the editor window except for the Status field are read-only.
