The Edit command allows you to edit the existing items and opens the editor window. You can edit one or more items simultaneously.

If all required fields have been filled out correctly, pressing OK will close the window, and the modified attributes will be stored in the database. Pressing Apply will save the data, but the window will stay open. Pressing Cancel will close the window without making changes to the data grid.

Only items of the same type can be edited simultaneously. When you select items of different types, the Edit command becomes unavailable in the context menu. For example, in the Devices directory, you can simultaneously edit either two or more devices or two or more device loaders.

The multiple editor window contains only those panels which are available for all the selected items.
