Locations directory

The Locations directory is used to manage the locations of divisions, stores, or devices.

Data grid columns:

  • Name is the name of the location.

  • Description is a brief text description of the location.

  • Security level is the security level assigned to the location.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new location to the directory.

  • Edit (F2) – edits location attributes.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes locations from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new items to the directory, please use the New location and New locations entry windows. To edit directory contents, use the Location or Locations editor windows.

When deleting locations from the directory, a confirmation prompt appears.

To select locations in the entry and editor windows of other directories, please use the Select location window.
