On-screen button format window

Windows used for managing on-screen button formats:

All these windows are opened from the context menu of the On-screen button formats directory data grid.

You can open the editor window using the Edit command in the context menu when one or more button formats are selected.

If one entry is selected in the data grid, the On-screen button format editor window opens. The window is composed of the Properties and Access panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Name is the name of the on-screen button format. This is a required field.

    An on-screen button format can be specified in the attributes of menu groups, menu items, draft menu groups, draft menu items, payment methods, and terminal operating modes.

  • Description is a brief text comment on the button format.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

  • Colour is the colour of the button background. This is a required field.

    Please select a colour in the colour selection window.

  • Font colour is the font colour of the text on the button. This is a required field.

    Please select a colour in the colour selection window.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The multiple on-screen button formats editor window opens if two or more entries are selected for editing in the data grid. A panel displaying a list of selected items is added to the window.

The panels and fields are similar to the those in the On-screen button format editor window.

The entry window allows you to add one or more new on-screen button formats to the directory.

You can open the New on-screen button format entry window by using the Add command or by pasting an on-screen button format from the clipboard.
