Security levels directory

The Security levels directory is used to manage security levels and access settings.

Location of the directory: AccessSecurity levels.

Data grid columns:

  • Name indicates the name of the security level.

  • Description is a brief description of the security level.

  • Owner denotes the user role of the employee who has permission to change the security level in this directory.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – creates a new security level.

  • Edit (F2) – edits security levels.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes security levels from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new security levels, use the New security level and New security levels entry windows. To edit directory contents, use the Security level and Security levels editor windows.

When you delete security levels from the Security levels directory, a confirmation prompt appears.

To open the directory from windows of other directories, use the Select security level window.
