Employee ID window

The following windows are used when working with ID specification items:

All of these windows are opened from the IDs panel data grid.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more IDs that are used by employees.

If one entry is selected in the data grid, the Employee ID editor window opens.

Window fields:

  • Employee indicates the name of the employee. This is a required field.

  • ID denotes the ID used by the employee. This is a required field.

    Please select an ID in the Select ID window.

  • Comment is a short comment on the ID.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

If the selected ID belongs to another employee, a dialog box will appear after you press the OK button, prompting you to confirm the change of the ID owner.

Clicking Yes will assign the selected ID to the new owner. At the same time, this ID will be deleted from the ID specification of the employee who used to have this ID. Clicking No will close the confirmation dialog box without saving changes in the IDs panel data grid.

If two or more entries are selected in the data grid on the IDs panel, the name of the window changes to Employee IDs. A panel with a list of the selected elements is added to the editor window. The owners of selected IDs are specified in brackets.

The fields are similar to those in the Employee ID window.

You can open the New employee ID entry window by using the Add command. From here, you can add a new ID to the employee specification.
