The Filter settings panel is used to add filter steps to the specification of a promotion formula and to make necessary settings. Filtering makes it possible to pick out data used to calculate the amount of discounts or markups.
The Filter settings panel is composed of the following columns.
Name – names of filter steps used for preliminary filtering of data needed for discount calculation functions.
Form class – names of form classes assigned to filter step boxes.
Caption – hint messages displayed in filter steps boxes.
Caption header – hint captions, displayed in filter step boxes.
Header – captions of filter parameters panels.
Required – flag to indicate that the filter steps are mandatory for execution.
Index – index to determine the priority of filter steps.
Required selection – flag to indicate that the selection of values for filter parameters is mandatory for execution.
The context menu of the Filter settings panel contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adds a new filter step to the filter settings panel.
(F2) – edits the existing filter steps in the filter settings panel.
(Del) – permanently deletes the selected filter step from the filter settings panel.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
– menu with the commands to manage summary functions of the data grid.
– menu with the commands to operate the data grid.
The entry window is used to add a new filter step to the Filter settings panel. The editor window is used for editing.
The permanent delete confirmation prompt is used when deleting filter steps from the Filter settings panel.
