The Price schedule panel is intended to create and edit price schedules applicable to the menu item. Price schedules allow menu items to be sold at different prices depending on the time of day. Moreover, using price schedules you can set a series of intervals throughout the business day during which menu items will be removed from sale altogether.
The field of the Price schedule panel:
Inherit price schedules. Required field.
The field is available in windows of those menu items which were created on the basis of other items (inherited menu items).
Selection is made from Yes or No options.
If the Yes option is set, price schedules of the basic menu item will be made available in the panel. The No option enables to specify those price schedules that will be applied only to this inherited menu item.
In the Price schedule panel each price schedule applicable to this menu item will be placed in a separate box.
If the panel is empty, the price schedule added to the panel is only saved if the price of the menu item was changed or its sale was limited to certain time intervals. Otherwise, it is no sense to add such a price schedule. Therefore, after clicking the
or button the panel will be cleared. The context menu of the Price schedule panel contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adds a price schedule for the menu item.
(F2) – edits prices of the menu item.
This command is only available in the completed data grid when a price cell is selected.
The
command is disabled in the context menu if a price schedule interval is selected in the price schedule panel.(Del) – permanently deletes price schedules assigned to the menu item.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
– menu with the commands to operate the data grid.
A new price schedule can be added using the entry window.
Each price schedule is displayed in the panel with its own timetable. The header of the table represents the name of the price schedule. Nearby there is a button to control displaying price schedules in the panel.
This price schedule can be added only once. If the selected price schedule has already been added, a warning message will be displayed.
The confirm delete prompt is used when deleting price schedules.
The name of the price schedule is shown in the header of the timetable. Each interval in a price schedule is assigned to an individual column. In the table each interval has the Price column, where you can change prices for the menu item or make the menu item excluded from sale within this period of time.
For example, a special offer could be configured so that business lunch costs 150 RUB
from 12 p.m. to 04 p.m
while till 12 p.m.
and after 04 p.m.
it is removed from sale.
Prices for menu items in the price schedule time intervals can be altered by means of the and editor windows.
