Abstract

Access panel in the Stock item category window

The Stock item categories directory is used to manage stock item categories.

Stock items categories allow additional parameters to be added to classify stock items. For example, it can be the country of origin or vintage date.

Location: Store - Directories - Stock item categories.

Data grid columns:

Name – name of the stock item category.
Description – brief description.
Security level – security level assigned to the stock item category.
System – system objects tag.

The context menu contains the following commands:

Add (Ins) - adds a new stock items category.
Edit (F2) - edits the selected stock item categories.
Delete (Del) – deletes the selected stock item categories to the Recycle bin.
Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.
Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.
Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage summary functions of the data grid.
Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

Stock item categories are added using the New stock item category and New stock item categories entry windows. The Stock item category and Stock item categories windows are used for editing.

The confirm delete prompt is used when deleting categories from the Stock item categories directory.

The Select stock item category window is used to select stock item categories from form fields in other windows.
