The Specification panel is used to control privileges defined in the employee privilege.
The privileges are displayed in the form of a tree list. Privilege groups describe two or more privileges to which you can simultaneously assign or cancel access.
In employee privilege you can separately assign privileges to view and edit certain objects. If the privileges to manage a directory are not set up for the user, the main menu will not include the option to open this directory
If the privileges to view the objects are not set up for the user, these objects will not be displayed for this user in Tillypad XL Manager data grids and on Tillypad XL POS . If the user has privilege only to view the objects, these objects are displayed, but the commands to edit them are unavailable for the user. The user can only modify the objects if he or she is authorized to do so.
In employee privilege you can set up privileges to run operations and privileges to confirm operations. This way, you can share responsibility for running important operations between two users. You can also define operations that cannot be run by one person and require validation of two users. For example, a waiter can only close his or her own guest tabs, while the administrator can confirm the closure of any guest tabs. If the waiter tries to close someone else's guest tab, the system will require confirmation of this operation. To confirm the closure of someone else's guest tab, the waiter will need the administrator.
Data grid column:
Name is the name of the privilege group and the privilege assigned to the user.
The data grid context menu on the Specification panel contains the following commands:
(F7) – assigning access to selected privileges.
(F8) – revoking access to selected privileges.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
– menu with the commands to operate the data grid.
You can assign or revoke access to each privilege. The icon used to mark the privilege depends on the state of this privilege.
