Test dishes and experiments enable the cook to find wastages of stock items when preparing the dishes. As a result of an experiment, a development record is created, where the cook specifies volumes of recipe items needed to prepare one or another compound stock item.

The Update recipes operation enables to make changes to the recipes of compound stock items in the Stock items directory based on the results of development experiments.
