Each device in Tillypad XL is controlled by a software module and uses the parameters of this module. The parameters specified for this device are added to the software module parameters. You can introduce additional parameters for efficient management of device parameters.
Additional device parameter is a set of parameters that are identical in many devices. Therefore, when you change an additional device parameter, this change will be applied to all devices that contain this additional parameter in their specifications.
If you add a preset kit of additional parameters, they will be merged with the device parameters. Software module parameters are overwritten by their matching parameters from the additional software module parameter kit.
The directory is used to manage additional device parameters.
