The following windows are used when working with modifier items:
All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the modifier specification data grid.
The editor window is opened by the one or more menu items to be edited.
command and allowsIf one item is selected, the editor window will open.
Window fields:
Group – name of the group that the modifier item is contained in. Required field.
Selection is made in the window.
In order to select a modifier item in the POS terminal menu and add it to an order, first of all the user should select the group, where the item is located.
Name – name of the modifier item. Required field.
The name of the modifier item is the name of the menu item it represents.
Index – value which determines the position of the modifier item in the POS terminal menu.
It allows the modifier item to be relocated when displayed in the group. By default the next to the last value is assigned to a new item in the group. Ordering can be used to place the most popular items at the top of the group, making them easier to access at the POS terminal.
Default – defines that the modifier item is used as the default option. Required field.
Value is selected from No or Yes.
The Yes option requires to select this modifier item and add it to an order. If No is set to the field, the POS terminal user can decide whether to add this modifier item to an order or not.
Click
to save data. Selecting will close the window without saving data.When two or more items are selected for editing, the multiple editor window will open. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the editor window.
The fields are the same as in the editor window.
The entry window is opened by the command. It makes possible to add a new menu item to the modifier specification.
