Change guest tab promotion category

To change the promotion category that is allocated to the guest tab, specify the guest tab and select the Change promotion in the Change menu.

Additional information

If you enter a client's ID, the guest tab will be drawn up for this client and use his/her promotion category.

This will open a window where you can select a promotion category or an authorisation device.

To assign or edit the promotion category of a guest tab, specify the required promotion category in the selection window. As a result, this promotion category will be assigned to the guest tab.

Additional information

Changing the promotion category in a guest tab belongs to the restricted POS terminal operations. Performed operations are stored in the Restricted POS terminal operations operational report.

You might need to authorise the operation and specify its reason. In the Restaurant waiter mode parameters, you can configure whether the operation needs to be authorised and the procedure according to which it will be stored in the list of restricted operations.

Pressing Cancel will close the editor window without changing the promotion category.

Additional information

In the selection window, you can specify the regular customer authorisation device, using which you can enter the client's details and promotion category to the guest tab.
