Regular customers directory

The Regular customers directory is used to manage information about a business’s regular customers.

For your convenience, the directory has a group structure.

Location: TransactionsDirectoriesRegular customers.

The directory window contains a tree list of regular customer groups and regular customers themselves. Only groups of regular customers can be root elements of the list. However, both regular customer groups and regular customers can be child elements of the list.

The Regular customers directory displays only attributes of regular customers and names of regular customer groups. You can view the attributes of regular customer groups in the Regular customer groups directory.

Data grid columns:

  • Name indicates the name of the regular customer or regular customer group.

  • Description is a brief description of the regular customer.

  • Promotion category denotes the promotion category allocated to the regular customer.

  • ID designates the ID used by the regular customer.

  • Personal profile is a link to the personal profile of the regular customer.

  • Company indicates the company the regular customer represents.

  • Language pack denotes the language pack that can be used to serve the regular customer.

  • Suspended is an attribute showing that special service conditions have been temporarily suspended for the regular customer.

  • Security level indicates the security level assigned to the regular customer

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds information about the new regular customer.

  • Add group (Alt+Ins) – adds a new regular customer group.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of regular customers or regular customer groups.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes regular customers and regular customer groups from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Account operations – opens the list of operations on the accounts of selected regular customers.

  • Points operations – opens a window to view the list of points operations for selected regular customers.

  • Account balances – opens a window with the selected regular customers' account balances.

  • Point balances – opens a window with the current point balances of the selected regular customers.

  • Guest tabs – opens a list of the guest tabs created for the selected customers.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new regular customer details, use the New regular customer and New regular customers entry windows. To edit directory contents, use the Regular customer and Regular customers windows.

The following windows are used to manage regular customer groups: New regular customer group and New regular customer groups entry windows, Regular customer group and Regular customer groups editor windows.

When you delete regular customers from the directory, a confirmation prompt appears.

To select regular customers from other directory windows, use the Select regular customer window. To select a group of regular customers, use the Select regular customer group window.
