Stock-in record specification item window

The following windows are used when working with stock-in record specification items:

All of these windows are opened from the data grid of the stock-in specification.

The editor window is opened by the Edit command when one or more stock-in record specification items are selected.

If one item is selected in the specification, the Stock-in record specification item editor window opens. The window always displays the Properties panel.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Document indicates the name of the stock-in record in which the selected stock items are included. This is a required field.

    The editor window for a single specification item contains the number of the stock-in record in which this item is included.

    This value will be entered in viewing windows of the following operational reports: Stock movement , Stock item turnover , Stock out by stock in , and Stock in by stock out .

  • Stock item denotes the stock item that was added to the stock-in record specification from the Stock items directory or from the Stock on hand operational report. This is a required field.

    The field has a drop-down list with the following commands: select... and select from stock on hand....

    By pressing the Select button or using the select... command, you can open the Select stock item window. The select from stock on hand... command opens the Select from stock on hand window.

    Stock item names appear in the viewing windows of the following operational reports: Stock movement , Stock item turnover , Stock out by stock in , and Stock in by stock out . They will also be presented in the viewing windows of various configurable reports.

  • Quantity is the quantity of the stock item in units of measurement. This is a required field.

    If the stock item was selected in the Select from stock on hand window, the default value will be the quantity of the current stock item on hand, represented as an absolute value of a number.

    The quantity of the stock item indicates the amount by which the stock on hand will increase once the document is successfully processed by the storekeeping system.

  • Unit (stock item) is the unit of measurement for the stock item. This is a required field. For convenience, the name of this field is not displayed in the window.

    You can select a value in the Select stock item unit of measurement window. By default, this field contains the value defined for this stock item in the Stock items directory.

    Unit of measurement shows which units are used to measure quantities of the stock items included in the specification of the stock-in record.

  • Price is the stock item price per unit. This is a required field.

    The price is defined per one unit of the stock item (quantity, weight, or volume).

    The price at which the stock item is received in the store is used for calculating stock item purchase prices and cost prices.

  • Total is the total value of the specified quantity (volume, weight) of the stock item. This is a required field.

    This field is populated automatically after values are entered in the Price and Quantity fields.

    The total price of the stock item is the product of price and quantity of the stock item.

  • VAT % is the VAT rate applicable to the stock item. This is a required field.

    This field displays the default value specified in the System settings directory.

    The VAT rate is used to calculate the VAT amount to be applied to the stock item.

  • VAT amount is the amount of VAT levied on the selected stock item. This is a required field.

    The field is populated automatically after you have entered values in the Total and VAT % fields.

    VAT amount = stock item price * VAT rate

    This percentage defines the amount of VAT for the selected stock item.

  • Incl. VAT denotes the total payment amount for the selected stock item quantity, including VAT. This is a required field.

    The field is populated automatically after you have entered values in the Total and VAT % fields.

    This value shows the amount of money, including VAT, to be paid for the items.

  • Index is the place of the stock item in the order of the stock-in record specification.

  • Comment is a short text comment.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

If two or more specification items are selected, the Edit command will open the Stock-in record specification items editor window. This window has a panel with a list of the selected items; their corresponding stock-in record numbers appear to the right in brackets.

The panels and fields are similar to those in the Stock-in record specification item window.

The sequential editor window allows you to edit stock-in specification items sequentially in the order that they appear in the document specification without closing the window.

This window is opened by the Edit sequentially command in the context menu of the stock-in record specification.

The sequential editor window contains the additional buttons: < Edit and Edit >.

You can open the New stock-in record specification item entry window by using the Add command in the context menu of the specification or by pasting one stock item to the specification from the clipboard.

The New stock-in record specification items entry window is used to add multiple stock items from the clipboard to the stock-in record specification. The window contains the list of stock items pasted from the clipboard to the stock-in specification. The numbers of their corresponding stock-in records are shown in brackets to the right of each stock item.

You can open the stock-in record specification item viewing window by using the View command. From here, you can view one or more selected items with the status Ready or Registered.

Selecting Close will close the viewing window.

When two or more specification items are selected in a stock-in record with the status Ready or Registered, the multiple items viewing window opens. A panel with a list of the selected stock items is added to the window. The numbers of corresponding stock-in records are shown in brackets to the right of each stock item.
