Element window

Windows used to manage table and device images on the seating layout:

All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the Layout panel.

You can open the Element editor window using the Edit command from the context menu of the Layout panel. From there, you can modify one element (table or device) on the layout.

The window is composed of the Properties and Visual properties

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Element type indicates the type of the element on the seating layout. This is a required field.

    You can choose between Table and Device.

  • Name is the name of the element. This is a required field.

    Please select a table in the Select table window. If you wish to select a device, you can do so in the Select device window.

  • Font colour indicates the font colour used to display text on the table image on the seating layout.

    The field is displayed only for tables, but not for other seating layout items.

    You can select a font colour from the set of standard recommended values in the drop-down list or in the standard colour selection window of the operating system.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The multiple seating layout elements editor window opens if two or more elements of any type (tables, devices) are selected in the seating layout. The name of the editor window changes to Elements. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the editor window.

The fields are similar to the ones in the Element window.

You can open the New element editor window using the Add command from the context menu of the Layout panel and modify one element (table or device) on the layout.
