Abstract

TfmSalePrivileges

The Promotion categories directory is used to manage promotion categories.

Promotion categories assigned to regular customers, divisions, tables, guest tabs, orders, or order items are added to guest tabs and taken into account when calculating discounts and markups.

Location of the directory: Sales – Promotion directories– Promotion categories

Data grid columns:

Name is the name of the promotion category.
Description is a brief description of the promotion category.
Guest tab limit is the maximum value of unpaid orders allowed by the promotion category.
Security level is the security level assigned to the promotion category.
System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

Add (Ins) – adds a promotion category.
Edit (F2) – edits attributes of the existing promotion categories.
Delete (Del) – deletes promotion categories from the directory to the Recycle bin.
Sales rules – opens a list of sales rules associated with the selected promotion categories.
Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.
Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.
Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.
Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new promotion categories to the directory, please use the New promotion category and New promotion categories entry windows. To edit attributes of promotion categories, use the Promotion category and Promotion categories editor windows.

A confirmation prompt appears when deleting promotion categories.

The Select promotion category window is used to open the directory data grid from the window fields.
