User roles of employees are stored in the user role list in Tillypad XL; they are applied when you set up access rights for users.
After you install Tillypad XL Manager, you will find details of one user role, Supervisor, which was entered by the developer. Access settings customised for this user role allow the user to have full access to the program data. Therefore, we recommend using this virtual user role for initial system access configuration.
The access rights of each user depend on his or her user role. According to the access settings configured for the user role, he or she will have privileges to run certain operations on specified objects of the system. The list of available and unavailable operations is stored in the employee privilege, аnd the list of objects that can be subject to operation is defined by security levels.
