Windows used for managing directory contents:
All these windows are open from the directory data grid.
The command opens the editor window and enables to change attributes of one or several promotion types.
If one element was selected in the data grid, the Promotion type editor window is opened.
The window contains following panels: Properties , Access и Specification .
Availability of the Points settings panel and additional fields depends on fields entries on the Properties panel.
Name – the name of the loyalty type. Required field.
The name of the promotion type is used in Sales Rules.
Description – any text description of the promotion type.
Any additional information can be entered in this field.
Promotion formula – promotion formula determining the discount or markup calculation method for this promotion type. Required field.
Please select the required option from the window . If the chosen promotion formula has specified filter steps, the Filter parameters field will display filter parameters panels.
Filter parameters – the filter parameters panels corresponding to the filter steps for the specified promotion formula. Filter parameters field is only displayed when the Promotion formula field has an entry with a filter.
Points settings – an attribute indicating whether a points system is applied for this promotion type. Required field.
Selection is made from the list: Without points, With points. The Without points value is set by default. When choosing the With points value, the Points settings panel is added in the window.
When you select a promotion formula with a specified filter, the Filter parameters field displays filter parameters panels. The filter parameter values are defined by the user. Before the filter steps are run, the system displays the phrase Not initialised.
To ensure correct discount calculation you need to specify filter parameter values.
An editor window for several promotion types is opened if several entries were selected in the data grid.
The name of the editor window is changed to . The window displays the Properties and Access panels as well as the panel with the list of selected elements.
The functions of the panels and fields and their completion rules are the same as in the editor window.

Entry window for several promotion types is opened if several elements are added from the clipboard. In this case, a panel with a list of selected elements is added to the window, and the name of the window changes to .
