The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:
Name – name of the menu unit of measurement. This field must be filled out.
The name is made available when selecting the menu item on the POS terminal, then it is added to specifications of orders, bills and receipts, as well as to print layouts of various reports.

Any additional information can be entered in this field.
Type – type of the menu unit of measurement. Required field.

Format – number format for displaying volume of the menu item.
If no format is entered, the default quantity accuracy is three decimal places.
In order to change the format, use «#»
, «0»
, «.»
and «,»
symbols. The «#»
symbol means that only significant digits will be made available in the box. The «0»
symbol means that decimal digits will be displayed. The «.»
symbol determines where the decimal separator should be positioned. The first decimal point determines where the integer part of the value is separated from its fractional part. All other characters «.»
in the number format will be ignored when displayed. The «,»
symbol is used to divide the integer part of the value into groups of 3 digits. Quantity's display format also determines the way of its rounding.
For example, if the number format #.00 L
is set, then 1.5 L
of beer will be displayed in orders, bills, etc. as beer 1.50 L
, while 0.03 L
of sauce will be displayed as sauce .03 L
. See the table below for more examples:
