Abstract

Windows used to manage price schedule intervals:

All these windows are opened from the context menu of the Specification panel's data grid.

The Price schedule interval editor window is used to change start and end times of an interval set in the price schedule specification. Multiple selection of price schedule intervals for editing is disabled.

The window is opened by the Edit command from the Intervals menu in the context menu when selecting an interval or selecting one or more prices within one interval.

When opening the entry window in the Interval start field, the default value is Open business day, i.e. whatever time the business day is opened. While in the Interval end field there is displayed Close business day as the default option, i.e. whatever time the business day is closed.

The fields and their purpose are the same as in the Price schedule interval window.

Guidelines on how to complete the Interval start and Interval end

The drop-down list of the Interval start field contains the following commands:

The drop-down list of the Interval end field contains the following commands:

If the interval start or end time is specified as being in the same day (the day of opening the business day), you should select the Same 24-hour period option in the drop-down menu of the corresponding field. Start time and interval end are displayed in the format HH:MM:SS, for example, 15:00:00.

If the interval start or end time is specified as being in the next day (following the day of opening the business day), you should select the Next 24-hour period option in the drop-down menu of the corresponding field. In this case the (next 24-hour period) message in a gray colour will appear in the entry field. Start time or interval end should be entered to the right to the message.

The number of columns used to represent an interval depends on the values entered in the Interval start andInterval end fields.

If in the Interval start field the interval is defined as being Open business day, while in the Interval end field it is defined as being Close business day (i.e. the interval is defined as being from Opening time to Close of business day), there will be a single column with the Entire business day header.

Figure 2.236. All day interval

If in the Interval start field the interval is defined as being Open business day, while in the Interval end field there is a specific time (i.e. the interval is defined as being from Opening time to a specific time), there will be two columns. The first will represent the period from opening time up to the start of the interval and the second will represent the period from the start of the interval onwards.

If in the Interval start field a specific time is entered, while in the Interval end field there is set the Close business day option (i.e. the interval is defined as being from a specific time to Close of business day), then a single column will be created. In the header of this column there will be the start time of the interval.

If in the Interval start field a specific time is entered, while in the Interval end field there is also a specific time (i.e. the interval is defined as being between two specific times), such an interval will be represented by two columns. The first will represent the start time of the interval.
