Sales parameters directory

The Sales parameters directory is used to manage sales parameters.

Sales parameters determine which menu item parameters can be adjusted when the user adds a menu item to an order or edits an order. They also specify whether a menu item is an independent item for sale or is intended for use only as a modifier with other items.

Data grid columns:

  • Name indicates the name of a given sales parameter.

  • Description is a brief description of the sales parameter.

  • M indicates that the menu item is to be used as a modifier.

  • (C*) indicates that the course in which the menu item should be served can be adjusted when the menu item is edited in an order.

  • (C+) indicates that the order in which the menu item should be served can be adjusted when the menu item is added to an order.

  • (N*) allows the number of portions of the menu item to be adjusted when the menu item is edited in an order.

  • (N+) allows the number of portions of the menu item to be adjusted when the menu item is added to an order.

  • (Q*) allows the quantity (weight, volume, time) to be adjusted when the menu item is edited in an order.

  • (Q+) allows the quantity (weight, volume, time) to be adjusted when the menu item is added to an order.

  • (Q/) allows the menu item's quantity (weight, volume, time) to be divided when the guest tab is split.

  • (P*) allows the price of the menu item to be adjusted in the order.

  • (P+) allows the price of the menu item to be adjusted when the menu item is added to an order.

  • T* allows a text comment to be added to the menu item when it is edited in an order.

  • T+ allows a text comment to be added to the menu item when it is added to an order.

  • Security level defines the security level either directly assigned to the note type or inherited by it.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a sales parameter.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of sales parameters.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes sales parameters to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

The New sales parameter and New sales parameters windows are used for adding new sales parameters to the directory. The Sales parameter and Sales parameters windows are used to edit sales parameters.

The confirm deletion prompt appears when you delete sales parameters.

The Select sales parameter window is used to open the directory from fields of other windows.
