Certain operations in Tillypad XL POS or in the Tillydroid app require that you specify a reason for their execution. These operations are called restricted POS terminal operations. They include:
deleting guest tabs, orders, and order items from registered and unready orders,
editing guest tabs (number of customers, tables, promotion category, employee),
splitting guest tabs (dividing guest tabs in two or moving orders between two tabs),
reprinting bills,
voiding payments (returning from payment and deleting the payment specification).
Information about carried out restricted operations is logged. Information about restricted operations carried out in Tillypad XL POS can be viewed in the operational report. Restricted operations carried out in the Tillydroid app can be found in the operational report.
Employees must specify the reasons for these operations on their POS terminals (in Tillypad XL POS) or on their mobile devices (in the Tillydroid app). Whether or not certain operations need to be logged is determined by the parameters set for the operating modes of the point of sale.
The reasons that can be specified for restricted operations are managed in the directory.
Reasons for restricted POS terminal operations are joined into groups. The list of groups is determined by the developer and cannot be edited.
