The following windows are used when working with time intervals:

Interval editor window
New interval entry window

The windows are opened from the Intervals menu in the context menu of the specification when selecting an interval or selecting one or more promotion categories within one interval.

The Interval editor window is opened by the Edit command and enables the user to change start or end time of one interval when promotion categories are applied. You cannot edit simultaneously multiple time intervals in the specification.

Window fields:

Interval start – interval start time. Required field.
The default value is Open business day, i.e. whatever time the business day is opened.
Interval end – interval end time.
The default value is Close business day, i.e. whatever time the business day is closed.
Note
Interval start and end times can be entered as a single whole number of hours in 24-hour format (for example, 15 to represent 3.00 pm) or in the format HH:MM:SS (for example, 10:30:55).

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The New interval entry window is opened by the Add command and makes it possible to add a new time interval to the specification of the sales rule.
