Order window

Windows used to manage orders:

All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the guest tab specification.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more orders in the guest tab specification.

If one order with the Not ready status is selected in the specification, the Order editor window opens.

The window is composed of the Properties and Additional promotion categories panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Guest tab indicates the guest tab, the specification of which contains the given order. This is a required field.

  • Number is the number of the order. This is a required field.

    The number of the order can be entered manually or generated automatically using a template from the Number settings directory.

  • Date indicates the date and time when the order was created. This is a required field.

  • Business day is the business day on which the order was submitted.

    This field is populated when the order is submitted. For an unsubmitted order, this field remains empty.

    Please select a day in the Select business days window.

  • Division denotes the division in which the guest tab was opened. This field is read-only.

  • POS terminal indicates the POS terminal on which the order was created. This is a required field.

    You can select a device in the Select device window.

  • Promotion category is the primary promotion category of the order.

    Please select a promotion category in the Select promotion category window.

    Promotion categories are usually applied automatically by means of a promotion category authorisation device (e.g. by scanning the client's ID). However, the operator of the POS terminal can also assign them to an order manually.

  • Employee is the employee who was responsible for the order. This is a required field.

    Please select an employee in the Select employee window.

  • Operator indicates the employee who took the order. This is a required field.

    Please select an employee in the Select employee window.

  • Status is the status of the order. This is a required field.

    Please select one of the following options: Not ready and Submitted.

    When the entry window is opened, the order status is Not ready. After the order is submitted, it receives the Submitted status.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The multiple orders editor window opens if two or more orders with the Not ready status are selected in the guest tab specification.

The name of the editor window changes to Orders . A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the editor window.

You can open the New order entry window by using the Add order command. From here, you can create a new order in the guest tab.

The panels and fields are similar to those in the Order window.

You can open the viewing window by using the View command. In this window, you can familiarize yourself with the attributes of one or more orders.

If one order with the Submitted status is selected in the specification, the Order editor window opens.

Selecting Close will close the viewing window.

The Orders viewing window for multiple orders opens if two or more orders with the Submitted status are selected in the data grid of the guest tab specification. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the window.
