Windows used with tables:
All of these windows are opened from the directory.
The editor window is opened by the command when one or more tables are selected.
If one table is selected, the editor window opens.
The window contains the Properties and Access panels.
The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:
Table group – name of the table group to which the table belongs. Required field.
Name – name of the table group. Required field.
The name will be displayed on the terminal and in the monitoring window if the table has no short name.
Short name – short name of the table.
Short name is displayed instead of full name:
on a seating and device layout on the terminal and in the monitoring window;
on the terminal next to the timed service which the table is allocated to.
To use a short name on the terminal, set the True value for the parameter UseShortName in the terminal parameters.
UseShortName = True
Description – brief description of the table.
Any additional information can be entered in this field.
Number – number assigned to the table.
The number can be used for selecting the table on the POS terminal.
Type – table type. Required field.
Selection is made in the window.
On the seating and device layout, the picture set for this table type is used to illustrate the current status of the table.
Order promotion category – promotion category applied to the table.
Table promotion category is specified in the order created for this table.
Selection is made in the window.
Any promotion category assigned to the table will apply to all guest tabs opened on that table.
Auto-order – auto-order applied to the table.
Selection is made in the window.
If an auto-order is specified for the table, it will be added to the guest tab when an order is submitted.
Control device – name of the device used to manage timed services offered on this table.
Selection is made in the window from a list of devices that can be used as POS terminals.
Click to save data. Selecting will save data without closing the window. Selecting will close the window without saving data.
The multiple editor window opens when two or more tables are selected for editing. Then a panel with a list of the selected tables is added to the window, and its title changes over to .
The panels and fields are the same as in the window.
The entry window is used to add one or more new tables to the directory.
The entry window is opened by the command or by pasting one table from the clipboard.
The panels and fields are the same as in the window.
The multiple entry window will open in case pasting more than one table from the clipboard. Then a panel with a list of the selected tables is added to the window, and the title in the window header changes to the .
