Add a menu item

At this stage, you need to add the Breakfast for employees item to the Menu directory.

To add a menu item, select the Add command from the context menu of the Menu directory. An entry window will open. Fill out the fields in the Properties panel.

Expand the Stock item panel. In the Stock item field, select the stock item called Breakfast for employees, which will be deducted in sales records when the Breakfast for employees menu item is sold. In the Quantity (stock item) and Quantity (menu) fields, indicate the stock item quantity that needs to be deducted when a certain quantity of the menu item is sold.

Press OK. The entry window will close, and the new menu item will be added to the directory.

Add the following items to the Menu directory: Lunch for employees and Dinner for employees.
