The following windows are used to manage menu groups:
These windows are opened from the and directories.
The editor window is opened by the one ore more menu groups to be edited.
command and allows parameters ofThe editor window is opened if one menu group is selected in the table.
The window contains the Properties , Access and Picture panels.
The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:
Parent group – name of the group above the current group in the menu hierarchy.
Parent groups are selected in the window.
In the POS terminal menu the access is granted to all groups and menu items from both parent and inherited groups.
Based on – name of the menu group, on the basis of which this menu group was created.
Selection is made in the window.
If the field is not empty, the menu group inherits all attributes from the basic group.
Name – name of the menu group. Required field.
The name of the group is displayed in the POS terminal menu.
Description – brief description of the menu group.
Any additional information can be entered in this field.
Button format – button format used to select the menu group in the POS terminal menu.
Selection is made in the window.
Button format defines the appearance of a control key displayed on the POS terminal screen to select this menu group.
Button format can be used when the GridButton
parameter in the POS terminal configuration is set to True.
Show = ( GridButton = True
Selection code – code that allows the menu group to be quickly selected in the POS terminal menu.
The quick selection code is a number which is entered on the numerical keypad on the POS terminal screen in order to add the menu items from the group to an order.
Index – value which determines the position of the menu group in the POS terminal menu.
The index parameter can be used to place the most popular groups higher up in the menu, making them easier to access at the POS terminal.
For sale – defines whether items in the group can be sold independently. Required field.
Value is selected from No or Yes.
If No is selected, the menu group will not be displayed and will not be available for selection on the POS terminal. This is typically used for modifier groups that are not to be sold separately).
Exclude from sale – temporarily removes the group from all the POS terminals making the items and any subgroups contained in it unavailable for selection. Required field.
The attribute is used to quickly remove the group from the menu. Afterwards, it can be easily restored.
Value is selected from No or Yes.
If Yes is selected, the menu group will not be available for selection on the POS terminal.
Click
to save data. Selecting will save data without closing the window. Selecting will close the window without saving data.The multiple menu groups editor window is opened by the command in the context menu of the and directories when more than one menu group is selected.
The name of the window changes over to the
. This window includes a panel with a list of the selected menu groups.The fields and panels are the same as in the window.
When multiple menu groups are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected menu groups.
The entry window is used to add one or more menu groups to the directory.
The window is used to add a new group to the and directories.
The window is opened by the directory, or by the command from the context menu of the directory or by the command from the context menu of any of these directories.

Multiple entry window will be opened in case pasting more than one group to the directory from the clipboard. Then a panel with a list of the selected menu groups is added to the entry window, and its title changes over to the .
